"In CERIF, cfResPubl (cfResultPublication) is an entity in the ERM. In the CERIF vocabulary, we introduce the concept of publication. Behind the publication concept in research there are moslty peer-reviewed publications (journal articles, conference articles). More and more, there are also other publication types of interest in the scientific domain, so-called 'Grey Literature', and multiple schemes are available to collect publication types. In the physical CERIF data model, the classification of types for publications happens with the cfResPubl_Class entity, where a type is represented by a classification term (cfTerm) identified by its cfClassificationIdentifier (a uuid), and reused at instance level for assigning publication types to publication records. This term belongs to the 'CERIF Entities; CERIF Entities' classification scheme." ()
